SKF 2RS has rubber contact seals on both sides, which makes them lubricated for life and maintenance free. If you are looking to reduce frictional losses where every little helps, these bearings can be run without dust seals, for example in race bike applications.
These have slightly higher friction than ZZ steel shielded types but do not have tendency to leak grease and keep even the smallest dirt and grit particles out of the important little places.
